The First

Yay, I got more of my Moon Senshi finished. This is the first ever Sailor Moon, Queen Selene de la Lune, the second Queen and the mother of Naoko's Queen Selenity.

Selenity has a very sad childhood - her Mau father dies in battle before she is born, and her mother dies after using her powers to save the Lunar settlement. Her stepfather tries to claim the crown for himself, but Selene's mother (Luna-Serenitatis) has passed her powers onto her daughter.

Selene leads her army into battle when she is still quite young, and it is in the middle of a crater where she faces The Darkness, and Selene keeps repeating how she does not want to fight, but she loves her people and she will protect them with her last breath. It is then the Silver Crystal is born out of her love – a crescent moon shaped crystal...

This is her uniform before she creates the Silver Crystal; hopefully I'll get her second fuku done in the next few weeks. I love Selene; I love her hair even if it takes me forever to get it to look right.

Drawn with Copic markers, white gel pen, fineliner, metallic ink and Photoshop. I cannot remember where I found the texture, so please let me know where I can find it.
