Queen Xantara

This is an entry for 's contest - to illustrate her Moon Legacy. I chose Xantara because she had an awesome backstory, an excellent hairstyle and the potential for the use of lots of pink

This picture has been doomed from the start - this is the third incarnation ♥

Anyway, I wanted to show Xantara wielding her power; I was thinking of her healing power when I came up with this - perhaps Crystal Tokyo after the war. I tried to make it reminiscent of Usagi in the final episodes of Stars.

I tried to do the dress in Elila's style - the gathered edging and hair ornaments - and tried to set off the sheer amount of pink.

I'm really happy with how this turned out - it's definitely one of my best ever pieces.
