I'm a huge fan of both and , so I couldn't resist drawing my own Moon Legacy when I saw theirs, especially since designs for Chibiusa's daughters have been buzzing around in my head so long.
I drew this version back in January and started a new version last week, and wanted to put the old version up before the newer one. Since I designed them, both Selenes & Kousagi have had a slight hairstyle change. And Naoko's Queen Selenity is missing thanks to a muddy paw print that even PS couldn't remove ^_^ My kitten Oscar likes to help me draw.
Holy Lady Luna: she's long been referenced in my Sailor Moon fic; she has a fairly tragic back story that I may expound on in the future; she founded the Moon Kingdom as a refuge for the magic-wielders of Earth.
Queen Selene - Luna's daughter and the first and only Silver Millennium Sailor Moon.
Queen Selenity - Naoko's. Princess Serenity's mother, I choose to refer to her as Selenity to avoid confusion and to link up the Selene from mythology and this royal family
Neo-Queen Serenity - Naoko's
Neo-Queen Serenity II (Chibiusa) - Naoko's. She returned to Crystal Tokyo, became Neo Sailor Moon and married Helios (awww).
Neo-Queen Serenity III ("Usa") - Chibiusa's elder daughter, the heiress. Terrified of becoming the next Sailor Moon, she relies on her younger sister a great deal.
High Lady of Elysian/Princess Theia - Chibiusa's younger daughter. A surprise to everyone, Theia became the second and last Chibimoon before taking her father's place in Elysian when she grew up.
Neo-Queen Serenity IV - Chibiusa's grand-daughter. A complete nutter - think Minako on acid ^_^
Neo-Queen Selene - Resentful of her mother, Selene ran off to Kinmoku as soon as she turned seventeen and got married. She only returned when she heard her mother was dead and had to face down an army brought about by Chaos.
Queen Kousagi - the daughter of Selene and a Kinmoku noble (explains the hairstyle and colour, and her name), orphaned as a child - with the help of a star locket and an old key, she resurrects a group of ancient senshi to help her bring forth the end of Crystal Tokyo and the beginning of the Golden Era.
So, if it isn't evident, I have lots of potential fic for my Moon Queens I'm still finishing off fuku and princess dress designs, plus I have to work out 'given' names for most of them. I'm very happy with how the coloured version came out; and I can't wait to finish the new picture.
Materials used: watercolour pencils, markers, glitter pen, white gel pen and Photoshop.
Awesome! I'm trying to decide on which one is my favourite, but it's so difficult! Queen Selene is in the lead, though, because of her uber-pretty hair! Luna-Serenitias reminds me of "our" Luna (well, her human form), any relations?

Thank you so much for your comment - I'm such a huge fan of your artwork One of the backstories I was considering for Selene was related to Mau but I'm still pondering ^_^
